Full Spectrum Nutrition

Here we’ll shift our focus to two elements that will help you fully reconnect with your inherent healing abilities: Diet and Supplements. One of the main objectives of Hawaii Healing Adventures is to provide you with an in depth look into what it takes to nourish your body with all of the nutrients necessary in order to thrive.

When you work with me personally we’ll look at areas such as your current diet, what supplements you’re taking, your age, and your health history in order to create a health plan specifically tailored to you.


Your main objective should be to receive all of your vitamins, minerals, and nutrients from your diet. To do this you need to focus on eating a nutrient dense diet. At the same time it’s important to identify your unhealthy habits and consume as few empty calories foods as possible.

Unfortunately in this day and age it’s becoming harder and harder to get all of the necessary vitamins and minerals from our diet alone. Here’s one example of what’s going on:

Farmers use pesticides which kill fungus. Without fungus to break down the dying plant the soil becomes depleted. The seeds that are planted won’t grow in this soil so fertilizers are added back in to allow the plants to grow, but they lack much of the nutrition needed for healthy cells. To make things worse, most of our seeds have a pesticide added to their DNA (genetically modified seeds), and we therefore have a food supply that is less nutritious and full of pesticides (for a more detailed understanding I highly recommend the book Healing is Voltage).

When we eat organic food there’s a better chance of obtaining the necessary vitamins and minerals directly from our food. The ultimate strategy is to combine a healthy diet with a few key supplements.


The list of available supplements in the marketplace is overwhelmingly large. On top of that, how much to take, when to take them, and in what combination can be complicated and confusing. For instance, if you supplement with Zinc you may fill a nutritional deficiency gap, but if you fail to supplement copper also you’re eventually going to create a whole other set of problems.

Finding the right balance isn’t easy, but there are a few key supplements that almost everyone is deficient in that can improve your health and help you feel drastically better in a short period of time.

It’s imperative that you start some sort of supplementation program for overall health, increased energy, peace of mind, and many other immediate and long-term benefits. I’ll help you navigate the murky waters…

Filling Nutritional Deficiency Gaps

I think it’s safe to say that nutritional deficiency is a worldwide epidemic. Because of the current farming practices as mentioned above, even if we eat a very healthy diet it’s still likely missing some key nutrients. If you eat a diet high in processed foods, consume a lot of unhealthy fats and oils, or you eat minimal fruits and vegetables, you are definitely missing out on a lot of essential vitamins and minerals that create an acidic environment in your body.

When our bodies are acidic, our tissues become inflamed, cells are damaged, and large amounts of free radicals are produced further damaging cells and tissues. When acidity is a chronic problem, as it is with so many people, it eventually leads to disease. Keep in mind that you are a giant battery and acidity represents low voltage. One way to increase the voltage is to provide your body with the proper vitamins and minerals.

I used to think I was invincible and I ate whatever I wanted whenever I wanted. It never seemed to affect me, but as I got older I learned that physical ailments take time to manifest. It may take years and years of a nutritional deficiency before it shows any obvious signs in the body. The best time to start improving your health is right now regardless of how healthy you think you are.

The first step is to become aware that you are most likely nutrient deficient in some way and it’s not your fault! The next step is to put together a plan to fill your nutritional deficiency gaps.

My overall goal is to set you up with a diet and supplement plan that provides you with full spectrum nutrition. Then it’s important to start forming new eating habits around your personal plan that are sustainable in order to stay consistent. This isn’t a diet, it’s a lifestyle change.

When we work together I want to spend as much time as possible with you to make sure you’re solidifying these habits. It only feels like a chore in the beginning. Once the health benefits start to kick in and you get in a routine it’s easy. Let’s get together and chat about how we can make this work for you.
